This is now a premier educational institution affiliated to Board of Secondary Education, Assam, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati- 781021 for Secondary Level and Assam Higher Secondary Council, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati- 781021 for Higher Secondary Level. At present total number of student of the school is approximately 700 (seven hundred). The school was established at this location in 1974, which was shifted from Shillong, the capital of Assam at that time.
